Terms of Use for GetNotify: Group reminders that persist

Welcome to GetNotify: Group reminders that persist, a mobile application developed by Belivio Pty Ltd (“we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the App. By using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. License and Ownership

GetNotify: Group reminders that persist is licensed, not sold. We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms.

All intellectual property, including source code, branding, features, and content, is owned by Belivio Pty Ltd and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, any content, material, data, text, images, reminders, group content, or other user-generated content submitted, uploaded, posted, or created in the App belongs to the App and/or Belivio Pty Ltd, and you assign or grant any rights needed for us to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, display, and operate that content in connection with the App.

2. Platform-Specific Terms

a. iOS Users

Use of this App on Apple devices is subject to Apple’s Standard EULA:

b. Android Users

Use of this App on Android devices is governed by the Google Play Terms of Service:

3. Subscriptions, In-App Purchases, Ads, and Refunds

The App may offer free and paid features, including subscriptions and in-app purchases. Some versions or tiers of the App may also display advertisements.

Payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

We do not provide refunds directly. Refund requests must be submitted to the relevant platform:

Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple or Google account settings.

If you purchase a tier that removes ads, the removal applies only as described in the App at the time of purchase.

4. Permissions, Data Collection, and Advertising

The App may request permission to access:

  • Push Notifications – for personal and group reminders

The App may also display ads delivered by third-party advertising partners, including Google AdMob. Those partners may collect device, identifier, usage, and diagnostic data in accordance with their own policies and applicable law.

Where required, we may present consent choices relating to advertising or tracking. You can also manage certain permissions and privacy controls in your device settings.

5. Account Creation and Use

If the App allows account creation:

  • You must provide accurate and current information
  • Keep your login credentials secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for activity under your account
  • Not impersonate others or use offensive, misleading, or unlawful usernames

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms.

You may also delete your account in the App by going to the Delete Account section in Settings and following the prompts. Once your account is deleted, it is not recoverable.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App
  • Upload unlawful, abusive, infringing, or harmful content
  • Exploit, disrupt, or misuse any App feature, system, or network
  • Use the App in violation of any applicable law or regulation

We reserve the right to remove content or restrict access at our sole discretion.

7. Intellectual Property and Feedback

All content and intellectual property in the App belongs to Belivio Pty Ltd.

By submitting feedback or suggestions, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, modify, and implement that feedback without restriction or compensation.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms or if required for legal, technical, or operational reasons.

You may stop using the App at any time.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not guarantee:

  • The App will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
  • All reminders, notifications, or group actions will always be delivered or acted upon in real time
  • Any content or output will be accurate, complete, or reliable
  • Defects will always be corrected

Use the App at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Belivio Pty Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages arising from or related to your use of the App.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Belivio Pty Ltd is also not liable for any loss of content, loss of data, deletion of account data, or other loss or damage arising from account deletion, service changes, interruptions, or your use of the App.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your most recent active subscription, if any.

If you have not made a purchase, our liability is limited to AUD $0, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, unless applicable consumer law provides otherwise.

12. Export Compliance

You represent that you are not located in a country or region subject to applicable export restrictions or sanctions and that you are not on any denied-party or restricted-party list under applicable law.

13. Consumer Rights

If you reside in a jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, including the European Union (EU), United Kingdom (UK), or Australia, nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes may be communicated through the App or our website. Continued use of the App after the revised Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
